Why you'll love this event
- Our stall will highlight the work of four contemporary artists: Alice Burnhope, Vladimir Lalić, Sahar Haghgoo, and Dina Abdoos. All of the artists we represent will be leading workshops which will provide engaging insight into their artistic process whilst encouraging the local community’s creativity.
- Our workshops are designed specifically with children and families in mind. The activities are suitable for all ages and abilities.
- The workshops, which include different artistic technique, will be easy to contribute and fun to engage with.
- All workshops are designed to offer insight into artistic technique, develop skills and will allow every participant to take an artwork home with them.
- Each session lasts around 60 minutes, making it ideal for a festival environment where attendees may wish to try multiple activities.
- There will be a face painting session led by one of our artists, Dina Abdoos, where children can fully embrace fun and festive atmosphere!

Alice's Rope Keyring Workshop
Textile artist Alice Burnhope will facilitate a drop-in textile workshop where you will learn a simple rope-making technique and create a personalised keyring to take home. The activity is designed to be accessible, engaging, and suitable for all ages, particularly young families and children.

Vladimir's Collage Workshop
Vladimir’s Collage & Mixed Media Workshop invites you to explore their personal stories through collage and mixed media, using found and personal materials to reflect on identity, change, and self-expression. Through layering textures, symbols, and memories, you will create visual narratives that mirror inner transformation.

Sahar's Monoprint Workshop
Through Sahar’s Workshop, you will explore intuitive mark-making and translate personal feelings or memories of places into unique monoprint artworks. You will create several abstract monoprints that reflect your inner experiences, and take your finished, dry artworks home.

Dina's Textile Painting Workshop
In Dina’s workshop, you will explore the art of wearable storytelling through textile collage and hand-painted design. It will invite participants of all ages and skill levels to transform everyday items such as T-shirts and tote bags into one-of-a-kind artistic pieces.
Dina will also lead a face painting session, always a favourite among children!
