"A new attraction in Manor House Gardens"

24 October 2025

Lee Manor Society recently shared a feature on the newly installed public artwork “To Move, is to Bloom” in Manor House Gardens, London, a striking large‑scale sculpture by Serbian artist Vladimir Lalić that celebrates movement, resilience, and renewal through its dragonfly‑inspired form emerging from the lake.

The installation, funded by an Arts Council grant secured by Tima Jam of Art Voyage Biennial, was lifted into place by crane and officially launched on 2 November 2025. The piece symbolises migration as a natural cycle, with each unique element designed to move in the wind and reflect themes of transformation and belonging.

The article also highlights Art Voyage Biennial’s broader engagement in Manor House Gardens, including community‑centred projects such as “Crafting Connections” by Alice Burnhope and “La Mesa Del Pueblo” by Ryan Hawaii, both rooted in local collaboration and cultural storytelling
