Vulnerable series concerns the damages we bring to ourselves and the relief and recognition we gain through them; a routine meditation and as addictive as the pain killers. It’s the circumstances that forces you to be either sharp and edgy or so drastically wounded that it finally lets you go.

Born in Shiraz, Iran in 1980, Mahsa Karimizadeh has been active as an artist since 2005. She graduated with a BA sculpture from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Tehran. Until now, she has been creating a wide body of works, ranging from sculpture to installations and paintings.
